- Clearance Checks: Thoroughly check all valvetrain elements to ensure there is adequate physical clearance and that components are not fouling against the cylinder head or engine block casting. TB48
- Valve Spring Requirements: Ensure your valve springs match the high-lift demands. Upgraded springs must provide correct open/close pressures and maintain a minimum coil bind clearance of 0.060". Additionally, check that the spring retainer-to-valve guide clearance maintains at least a 0.060" gap.
